Recently, had very cold day and had to pull frozen door open on 1998 cadi el dorado. Now door will not shut. Lasp is open but will not lock on striker to hold it shut. Any ideas or previous experiences with this? Thanks for taking a peek. sinc. NEIL

 

Spray some methyl hydrate( alcohol) in there to free up the frozen grease or ice, work the mechanism free again and then use wd40 to lube it up. That should get you by till spring, then you can clean it up good.
