Default A/c not cold

So the 02 Eldorado was not cold but barely cooling, so I had 2 12 oz refrig. cans installed but no change......the lines/pipes under hood were very cold but not the air......is this telling me I need a another compressor? Thanks as it is very hot/humid in Tennessee.

Check for codes using OBD look in faq section. It could be sensor or programmer concern. Do you have FSM? If you remove glove box behind it you will see programmer blend door arm. It should move as temp is set at 90 down to 60 and back to 90. There should be a rod secured by a clip on arm, the rod is connected to blend door. You will want to have a/c set to 60 if you are driving intown or heavy traffic.

blower is under hood. I may have misunderstood post. You were not getting air out vents vs blowing warm air.

The mechanic bleed the lines as it did not need 2 cans of refreg that another jack leg installed without a good gage......it had WAY to too much in it and he said drive a few days and see if it is better or else may need blower mtr....good news as it is now much much better....I had not been driving it for a while & and driving it more made a diff.....also it probably only needed less than a can instead of two.....,tks for your input slowroll

the blend door behind the glove box is not a big deal...uses a phillips screwdriver or torque tip to take the screws out, light pulls out to the side, don't need to disconnect...let the glove box sit in your lap and look for the blend unit that switches from heat to cold...the little rod had came loose from the plastic holder...I pulled the rod to the cold position with the air on and running...left it that way all summer, will move it to heat when it gets cold...or take it to cadillac and pay $200 bucks for them to fix it....
