Hi there, have a 2001 Eldorado that I am looking to sell, but havent gotten any serious offers, and the price has been dropped to $2000. Live in Chattanooga, TN, and have it listed here, as well on Craigslist. The car has 187,000 miles on it, but in excellent condition for most part, and I get compliments driving it all the time. Its my daily driver, and have a new CTS is the same shade Metallic Red Tri-tint.
My question is, the car is still driveable, clean and maybe I just do a engine swap at some point, and keep it. Does anyone know of a good boneyard, or re-seller that specializes in the Northstars. I know you want to stay away from any engine from before about 1999 or so isnt it as it was a head gasket/stud issue. Any help of feedback, especially those in the ATL/CHA area or Southeast.
