Default 2008 DTS AC Relay hot.

My A/C wouldn't come on today so I checked the fuses and relays associated with that system. One of the relays, an 8034 was extremely hot. I removed it and switched it with a relay (same number) from another one on the fuse box and the A/C compressor kicked on and it worked. I drove to the store, working fine but when I came out and started the car the A/C compressor would not kick on again. I swapped relays and it engaged. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on here? Thanks

Default

A/C compressor clutch cycling too much, causing relay coil to overheat. Corrosion on terminals causing increased current draw again overheating coil. You could try" New" relay it's possible relay was updated.
