Fuel pressure will be approx 38psi+/-4. Grounds on engine and trans are also possible. Cam and crank sensors should set codes but can be 'degraded' not bad enough to set a code. Check to make sure terminals are clean and weather seals are in place. Did you replace ignition module when you replaced coils?

What is the ignition module? Im going to pick up a fuel pressure gauge sometime this week to check that. I cleaned as many grounds as i could find for the ignition system when i replaced the coil packs. But im not sure what/where the actual module is.

Ignition module is what coils mount on.

No, I'm not saying replace module. Many times coils and module are sold as a unit, in used parts channels, at less than 50.00. So I need to know. Let's go thru the basics before guessing with money.

Everything i replaced was brand new, nothing used. This friday i am going to pick up a fuel pressure tester, and let you know my results i have a list of the codes i am getting.

rs0060 history
pz2719 current
pz1558 history

I think the rs0060 is the random misfire, not sure what others might be, If you know please let me know.
Is there a way to test the sensors to make sure there operating properly?
I will also try and clean as many grounds as i can find.

I also did a compression test like 8 months back, and all cylinders were with in 5, i dont remember the exact numbers but the number 195 is in my head but i dont know if thats from anouther car, this friday when i play around with it ill do anouther compression testjust to check the health of the engine.

Thanks for all the help guys and have a Merry Christmas!!

P0300 is misfire code. Do you have access to a scanner?

no i dont, i used the self diagnostics thing. I might beable to bring it to a shop and have them run the scanner. I have the OBDII wire for the PC but i think its broken because it wont connect to the car, or maybe its the programs i tried not to sure.

Ok sorry i know it took awhile but i finally got a chance after a looooong week to check the fuel pressure, its 40 when the key gets turned on to the run position, and about 42 pulsesating +- 2 when running, But when i turn the key how long is pressure supposed to be held? Pressure dropped to zero after about1.5- 2 min. not sure if it was the gauge relief valve but also not sure how long its supposed to hold pressure. Again sorry for taking so long to get back to working on the car, im gonna go and do a compression test in a few min and let you know what my results are.

I dont have a fuel pressure gauge, ill have to go pick one up, there is a code pzm2713 or something, ill double check that. The coil packs are only 4 months old, so no there clean. What should the fuel pressure be? I replaced the fuel pump about 5 months ago after the fuel pump got a short. But the problem was before this for over a year and a half at the least. Ive been tring new things here and there. Doesnt effect me tomuch but i would like to not have to worry about it anymore.
are new coils are GM DELCO ?
