Default Rear air shocks

96 DeVille, the ride is very firm in the rear, is the level ride controlled by the front adjusters on each strut, or is there items in the rear I can test? It seems the shocks are not lowering. It also says "service ride control" with no codes entered. At times I can travel maybe a mile before the src is displayed. My hayes manual says nothing about these issues or repairing them, except for replaceing struts.

is that still showing? current or history?

also, clear codes, drive it and pull codes again.
make sure you state current of history.

your issue may just requre pulling the connector from the problem strut and cleaning the terminals.
read the electircal ghost thread

Current-- anytime I pull the code and after I clear it. If I press reset when it comes on it will not show up again until I shut the car off then start it.

no no no ..

reset doesnt clear the codes ..
you have to CLEAR CODES by way of the menu .. look at instructions in CODES threads.

PULL CODES does not mean they pop up at you .. you have to activate the diagnostics ..
again, look at instructions

its confusing the first time .. but very helpful in determining the problem.
