Default P0741&p1527 are they linked?

I have a 99 Deville with 75,000 or so miles on it and i posted a question about the P0741 code previously but now i have some new questions.i reset the computer the last time i got the code and nowI am getting the P0741 code andaP1527 code and wondered if they are some how linked since they are both tranny related codes?I tested the transmission using a guide for the P0741 codei found here that said to hold the car at around 60 mph and very lightly tap the brake and you should have a bump up in RPMS. I did this and the RPMs did go up around 150-200 rpms each time i did it and i figured since it did that the code may have been false. I reset the codes and i checked them again and now the P0741 code is back and there is a P1527 code along with it. I am not sure what to do at this point since the test seemed to reveal that the transmission was doing what it is suppose to. I just really dont want to take this to a shop and be told that i need all of these expensive repairs but not really need them. I guess i am just looking for some advice on what you all think i should do at this point.
