RE: Low Oil Pressure
Oil level has very little to do with oil pressure. You need to install an oil pressure gauge in place of the oil pressure sender to verify pressure is above 10 LB engine hot. Not knowing what car you drive, its difficult to tell you where it is, but they are generally by the oil filter. Please list type and year of car in your signature profile.

RE: Low Oil Pressure
i couldn't find an oil pressure test to borrow i dont want to buy one cuz im not gonna be using it but maybe once. i had my car running the other day for like 10 min. and the oil pressure low message never showed up. im driving just around town less than 5 miles away from house just in case it happens again. other than that it works fine. why does it not do it no more?????

RE: Low Oil Pressure
Oil pressure switch maybe on its way out, also the connector tends to fall apart can allowing wires to short together causing light. The worst thing it could be is trash in the oil causing oil pump not to operate properly,at times
