Can anyone tell me the best way to lower the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump on a 1997 Cadillac Deville Concourse? Thanks

How much fuel is in tank? It will need to be below 1/4 to remove tank in your driveway or detached garage. DO NOT TRY TO DROP TANK IN ATTACHED GARAGE! Raise car a high as possible. Reposition exhaust, remove heat shield, disconnect fuel lines, filler hoses, electrical connector, place floor jack under tank remove 4 bolts that holds straps and lower tank.

Slowroll, Thanks for your reply. I have a well equipped detached shop, so should not be a problem. I even have a transmission jack I borrowed, so that should work good. Just trying to get a good idea what I am facing. Thanks again for your help.
