Default Check Coolant Level

Have a 2000 DTS, and keep getting the "check coolant level" message. I have stopped at 2 garages and had them check the coolant level and both have said it is fine. What should I do ?

Just as a side note, just got my DTS back after being in the shop to fix a broken power window regulator. I had forgotten how spoiled I feel driving my DTS. I was driving my wife's new Grand Prix while my DTS was in the shop and that thing was beating me up on the commute.

Despite its faults, I love my DTS.

hey dhsman i got a 2000 dhs as well, the window regulators will give you nothin but trouble best bet is to go on ebay and order a guaranteed rebuilt one they are guaranteed for life if you send them your broken core i paid 125 for one about a month ago but a few months back i took it to the shop and they charged about 400. It is super easy to get the door panel off and its only a few bolts bout an hour worth of work.

That's odd that you guys are getting the "check coolant level" message when your coolant is full. My 200 deville just overheated and my engine coolant was just about empty and I have an engine coolant leak and I never got that message.

You guys have full coolant and it tells you to check coolant level, I have no coolant and it doesn't tell me anything (except for engine overheating, coolant overheating, change engine oil) WTF?
