Default changing brakes

i am a new owner of a 2000 deville with 53000 miles. I was wondering if i had to disengage the air suspension to change the brakes.

Who did the brakes? I'd go back there and get them to look at them. Sometimes new pads and old rotors will do this, could be a hot spot on rotor. Fine emery coth will clean them up.
