Question Brakes, belts, hoses 2003 deville

My 2003 Deville with 74,000 miles with original brake pads and rotors, belts, and hoses. Just wondering how others had results with their Deville with similar miles and age in driving conditions in the southeastern USA. I have the oil changed every 4,000 miles at AAA Service Center. Last few oil changes they have said I should consider new brake pads, belts, and hoses. Wondering how others have lifetime of their brakes, belts, and hoses? Should I depend on the brake pad warning indicator to alert me when the brake pads are at the end of their thickness? The hoses and belts look and feel in good condition. I am not a cheapskate. But I would like to get as much use of the original parts as possible.

Probably the best idea is to have a brake repair shop inspect the brakes. Due to its age, I would suggest having a brake inspection every year. You COULD replace them if you want, but why replace what is working fine? If they SAY something is wrong, have the mechanic show you. You can inspect your belts and hoses, so that's not a big deal. Since the southeast is not as bad on a car compared to the "snow states", your car won't wear down as much.

Smile Thanks TS

I keep close check on the belt and hoses. Just a little concerned that the brake pad warning sound I might not hear soon enough to avoid damage to rotors.
