96 Deville Suspension

RE: 96 Deville Suspension
I have a '96 Deville also and it has air ride suspension. I had to replace it last year and I went with Strutmasters. It is a replacement to the air ride suspension. This has been great for my Deville. It cost me around $900 to purchase the Strutmasters kit and have a mechanic put them on. It is shock/coil spring combo in the rear and struts in the front. This is a cheaper option than going out and spending the money on the air ride.

RE: 96 Deville Suspension
I don't know if mine is working or not. I had an 89 Brougham that had the level ride light that came on and I could hear the pump running. Does the 96 still have the light? No light in mine nor do I hear any pump running. Checked the fuse in the trunk it was ok. May check the relay tomorrow. Any advice?

You probably have an air suspension system and in that case I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. This is a PERMANENT fix. With air suspension you can replace the bags and compressor but it will never be truly fixed. The main problem is that the airbag will get tiny holes and cracks causing the compressor to over work itself (like blowing up a balloon with a hole in it.) I added the link below so you can take a look.
