I have a '96 Deville. Last week I looked outside and noticed the brake lights were on and the car has been off for hours. I went out there and pressed the brake pedal and they went off. Then two days ago I go to leave and all power has been drained. I am assuming the brake lights stayed on again and killed the battery. Does anyone know why they would be staying on? It's all brake lights including the 3rd light on the back dash. Thanks in advance.

 

Look inder the dash and see if your brake lite switch is sticking. It just might need some WD40 to free it up but also may need adjustment or replacement.
