Default 95 Deville heating and A/C problems!

Whenever I cut the heat or AC on a message pops up across the dash "Low Coolant/ Refridgerant"m but I took it to the mechanics' and they said the Coolant/refridgerant was full and couldn't take any more in there. Also there is a wire problem that I have jimmy rigged jus for the heat to come on, and now it seems as though the heat never gets hot anymore, I may ride around for close to an hour and the heat is still cold only comming from the defrost vents. What could be one of my many problems? Also how much should an oil pan gasket change cost? I was told $300 from one shop and $700 from another because my exhaust pipe is just one pipe all the way down!

What codes are being shown? The 'heat' problem may be a faulty valve. Cost of a gasket replacement varies widely according to areas.

It could be your heater core, since youre not getting heat. Check the carpet under and behind your glove compartment, especially the back of the carpet. Are you losing any coolant?

Really sounds like a heater core to me, is the carpet wet behind the glove box? The only other thing i can think of is mabye you caused to a short somewhere by hard wiring and bypassing the fuses. What exactly did you rewire?
