1998 Cadillac Deville HEAD JOB?
Hello,
I am new to this forum but have owned a Cadillac for meany years now. My problem is that my coolant is leaking out. I have no leaks. But I think it is leaking into the engine. I used a combustion gas test on the radiator tank and it showed exhaust gasses in the anti-freeze. I think I have either a bad block or a bad head gasket. What should I do? The engine has 98,000 miles on it with a transmission that has only 2000 miles on it. They say it should cost $7500 to put a new factory motor into it. I don't know if that's high or not. I have never had an engine problem with this. I do know that the previous owner never drained the anti-freeze out. I did this back in 07-08 when I bought the car for $1500. The owner didn't want it anymore. He was getting old. What should I do???
Thanks.
