Default 1996 Deville 4.6L V8 - Does anyone know?

Bear with me here guys as I am doing the asking for my mechanic guy - on the passenger side of the caddie firewall, there is an electricial plug that has a couple of 1/8" vacuum lines coming out of the same area - one "Y"s with part of the Y running down the side of the frame under the battery, the other end of the Y is loose - it's about a foot long, and he can't figure out where it's supposed to connect. Can anyone help???

From looking under my hood, 98 Deville, it seems to be going to the passenger wheel well and the other part of the Y branches off to the intake manifold.
