I have a 1988 DeVille customized into an El Cadillac, like an El Camino. Everything interior forward is a DeVille. Engine runs perfect, just tuned it up, but having AC issues. AC is charged gets cold but after a few minutes, "Service Air Conditioner" light comes on and engine starts to miss. Disconnect battery, AC starts to cool till light comes back on...repeat...repeat. Figure it's computer problem but can't figure out the code. Is there a separate AC computer from the engine computer? When I look online for computers, it appears that way. But why would AC computer make engine miss. Any ideas?
