03 DTS Tranny question

Default 03 DTS Tranny question

During the warmer months, I hear a medium to loud "squeak" shifting from 1st to 2nd. My thoughts are possible solenoid. I bought car with 60k on it. I am not 100% confident tranny has been flushed. Think I should do that 1st? The car seems to have developed some issues in the 6months I've owned it. This is just 1...

before you do anything, pour a bottle of LUCAS Transmission fix with conditioner .. it has done wonders for several of my cars.

as to the flush, suggest that you skip it .. if anything at all, DRAIN and replenish fluid, not flush.
