Hi. I am getting my 2006 CTS Next week. But getting a Head Start.

what do all the buttons do on the Steering Wheel. Esp the Voice Button ??

Car is a CTS Luxiy 3.6 v6

 

Voice button allows you to verbally select features instead of pushing buttons. You can select AM, FM, CD, Nav, and a multitude of more specific comands related to these. The 4 buttons on the left are programable for certain features related to Audio and climate control. I have #1 station up, #2 station down, #3 Temperature up and #4 Temperature down. I know you can do Fan up or down as well as some other options. You will have to play with it. There is ALOT of customization and personalization you cab do. Mine is an 05 so yours will probably have even more features. Have Fun! Mike.

Just been reading the user manual. The 4 Buttons which can be customised and programed.

Does anyone know if 2 of them could be programmed for the Cruise Control to make the car go Faster and Slower. AS the leaver/button would seen a little bit fiddly.

 

Nope, the 4 programmable buttons will control the fan+ or -, Temp+ or -, seek+ or-, traction on/off, radio station+ or -, source, nav repeat, push to talk or no function. I agree the cruise controls leave somthing to be desired.

Hi. I had a phone call and i should be collecting on Tuesday.

Apparently the passenger would not open. Its supposed to be a comon fault. not sure. But it will be fixed my monday.
