Ac won't come on light just flashes.
I have a 06 CTS has been a great car. Granddaughter let a deer step thru the grille hood and passenger fender. After replacing the parts all worked well except could not get the havc to start because of no freon. The light is flashing for AC but it will not start the compressor. I did get feron in by using the defrost. Gages show plenty of feron now but AC light is still flashing. I have replaced the ambient temperature sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is most likely a DTC stored. You could disconnect battery and see if it clears. If it doesn't, I'm not sure an auto parts store code reader will read and clear it. You may have to go to dealer.
