Default traction control light on

2001 cadillac seville sls with traction control light on. I don't have any problems braking or accelerating. no abs light on. anyone have any ideas on what it could be? when i press the traction control button on the console, it does nothing.

The traction control sensor could be bad.
500 cubes of Cadillac power cruisin' down the street.
