the cts v is the superior car by far. the price isnt even comparable.

Motor Trend still boast the CTS-V is the winner. It beats the M5 in both quarter mile and 0-60 plus it has a faster time on the Nurburgring than the BMW. Which the the record breaking CTS-V was sold in 2009 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction for around $60000.

The record was recently broken :( by the new Porsche Panamera Turbo which has a 4.8 litre 493HP V8 that completed the Nurburgring in 7:56.29. Three seconds faster than the CTS-V. So im sure Cadillac will be looking to try and break the Porsche record down the road.:cool:

Also the manual CTS-V is slower than the auto in 0- 60 and quarter. In this video the manual still beats it but not buy much.

the price of the new porsche panamera base model is around $132,000. one can acquire a cts v and ship it off to have the henessey upgrades and push around 700 horses for a good deal less than the cost of a base panamera turbo.
