Cadillac was the first automobile maker who produce a V8 engine.The Cadillac engines with 1-6 cylinders are non - Cadillac engines. The first Cadillac use of a non-Cadillac V8 was the 1975 Seville engine , which used an Oldsmobile 350 engine. It featured Cadillac-exclusive Bendix electronic fuel injection and it was rated at 180 hp in (130 kW). all Sevilles engines were Cadillac-powered engines.
