Hi: New member here, never knew this forum existed. I'm looking for some advice please,
I currently found out that my rear air shocks are leaking and cracked, (my fault) overloaded
the car for vacation, never realized that total max weight for this car is only 175 lbs. Car only
has 61K, but I made the boo boo. I see that the price for a new set is about $800, my question is: What would the cost of installation run me? Or, I am fairly good at auto mechanics, and was
wondering if this is a job I could do myself? Or is it too complicated? Thanks much for any info.

Not sure on the price of installation, i would suggest calling around to get a quote.
It's not too bad a job really, they're just like shocks with air lines attached.
The biggest problem we run into is a rusted chassis that doesn't like to let go of its attaching parts.[:@]

Everthing is eaiser on a lift with the right tools, but i would consider this a possible DIY project.

FLCaddy: Thanks much for the info, guess I'll give it a try. I was a little
worried about the fact that the Manual says it is electronically controlled
suspension, would I have to have anything re-set with the computer after
the installation? Or would I just be good to go?

You should be good to go.
Depending on which system you have.
One has an electrical connector on top of the shock in addition to the air line.
The other only has the air line.
