Got into my 01' DHS this morning and fired her up; while turning out of the driveway the power steering made a really bad whiiiiiiring noise. It was about 23 degrees outside - really cold. Car contiuned this until it warmed up.
Is this normal when it is this cold outside and the car hs been sitting all night?

I stopped at my Cadillac dealer and he said this is normal behavior - curiously this noise is present even when it is not so cold outside - however it is barely noticable.

My DHS has only has 28K miles on her and thus is still under factory warrenty. I dont want to believe the powersteering is shot already.
