I am assuming some of you have swapped to this system. My car currently rides great (99 STS) but large bumps at 75 the back end seems to hop to the right. From my limited reading here it sounds like i may have tired shock/strut system. Well the new ones (factory)would actually cost more then I paid for this car (maybe the reason i got it so cheap).
Is the ride close to the original? Since it was an Air system before, I am assuming the replacement ones have some way to keep the compressor from running, to fool it? I have read they have some resistor or plug in.
In the actual install do the replacement once have a place to plug the old caddy stuff in? Is it basicly a swap, just unbolt and bolt back in and hook up whatever was hokked to old shocks ot hte new ones?
Could somebody who has installed some (themsleves) give me some feedback on how hard, and if all hookups where taken into account.
thanks!
