3k sounds like a lot to pay for a car that is in such a bad shape. Just image all the things you are going to have to repair to restore it to its former glory. Needs complete derusting and new paint, I don't even want to know how rusty it is underneath or what the engine looks like. If that is what it looks like on the outside then the interior must be pretty shot, too?

Still: No more than 1.5 to 2 k. If the seller wants to make more money off his old Eldorado then he has to fix some items himself first before putting it on the market.

You might need to call Xibit - sound like a job for Pimp My Ride...

I can find them for $300-600 so I wouldn't pay that much
