I have a 2000 DTS. When I brake I get a vibration from the front wheels. I have replaced the front rotors with good quality new Brembos and fitted new good quality ceramic pads. I had previously tried 3 other machined rotors. But the vibration will not go away when I break. Is it bearings? The calipers look in good condtion andseem to work fine. The suspension joints also look fine.

I have had this for a long time but its been getting worse. Please any suggestions?

Vibrations that rise and fall with the speed of the vehicle??? and more of a humming? its the bearings.

Thanks. I replaced both front bearings and the vibration (more of a shudder) is still there. At a total loss now what it can be. Rear bearings are fine and it coming from the front anyway

What speed does this happen? does it happen during turning also? Where does it feel like its coming from?(left? right? center?)

Usually at speeds over 40 but sometimes I can feel it around 30 as well. When I brake really hard thevibration stops. Definately feels that its coming from the front but the steering isntimpacted and it doesnt matter if I am breaking in a straight line or going round a bend. Wheel balancing? I just can't figure it out. When I apply the brakes softly you can feel the shudder starting.Feels that its coming from both wheels and of course I can feel it on the brake pedal.
