I spoke to my local Caddy dealer yesterday and he said GM is not going through with the CTS coupe program. Can anyone confirm or belay this info. I'm holding off getting an '08 M3 with DCT till the the V coupe comes out.

I haven't heard that. If they kill it, that would be a huge blunder. As far as I know, the 556hp cts-v will be out this winter. I think your caddy dealer might be mistaken. Keep holding off, the m3 will still be there later.

I agree....I didn't really want to believe it either. There was way too much positive response from the press and everyine. Not a big fan, nor do I need a 4 door. I'll be first in line to get the 2 door CTS-V though.

Sounds like your local caddy dealer wants to sell you something that's already on the lot.

Sounds like a smooth sales team with talent to convince a buyer w/o being pushy.
or simply mis-informed.

Cadillac (http://www.leftlanenews.com/cadillac.htm)’s new CTS Coupe (http://www.leftlanenews.com/cadillac-cts-coupe.html#) is headed for a November reveal at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but our spy photographers managed to get an early unveiling of their own. Unlike previous spy shots, these show the upcoming two-door void of any camouflage!

Codenamed GMX226, the stylish couple will debut at the LA (http://www.leftlanenews.com/cadillac-cts-coupe.html#) show — according to Edmunds – and will be built alongside the CTS sedan (http://www.leftlanenews.com/cadillac-cts-coupe.html#) at the Lansing Grand River Plant. Production will start in May of 2009. The coupe will feature a backup camera which is not currently found on the sedan, and won’t have traditional door handles, but rather a touch-pad setup instead.
