Hello! Longtime reader, first time poster in need of advice. Dealer tells me my a/c compressor, dryer, and low pressure switchare shot. My brother, who is very gifted mechanically, has offered to replace the whole system. However, it has been my experience that parts bought at the local auto parts store say they are compatible with the Cadillac but aren't really. So, should we buy parts from a dealer or take a chance that a Delphi compressor really will work? Thanks for the input. Heatlaw

Delphi is GM beleive it or not, Delphi was a part of GM that was splintered off to break UAW contracts.(too much b.s. with that) Part should work as well as oem.

Just a point of interest, in NASCAR there are DELPHI sponsored teams, just another way to give factory help directly to the Chevy boys.

Thanks for the info. I wasleery because I bought a flasher fuse from an auto chain and the $3.00 fuse worked for about a month then had to get one from the dealer for about $15.00 that has worked ever since. Again, thanks for the advice.
