I have a 2.8 Liter CTS but need more power...does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking for a rear mount turbo kit, but can't find one...Haven't really looked for anything else as of yet. Are there any performance parts for this motor?

Well, I can tell not too many people look at this forum since I have not gotten a response in 4 days!!

What about lowering their CTS...anyone used the Eibach lowering kit for these cars?

I'm certain there are plenty of sites off the internet that would get you some kind of lowering kit for your CTS.

As far as the turbo, I would think that your car is still too new for turbo kits because it takes so much time to develop one, engineer it, AND get it smog legal in whatever state you live in. I've been there before, for a different car, and it was not easy. Hopefully, they make one for the CTS V.

Thanks for the response... my goal is to lower it and then eventually drop a built LS6 in it...hopefully there will be a conversion kit for that within a few years!!

In my opinion, it'd be easier if you bought a used CTS V if you plan to drop the LS6 in it. Isn't the tranny different between the 2.8 and the V? Then you'd have upgrade the tranny too. All the specialized work is going to cost you, probably more than outright buying a V. Just my 2 cents worth.

PS: You could take my LS6 from my Z06 so I can buy an LS7 for it ;)

Oh wait, I can't throw any more money at the Z anymore!
