Looking at a 1985 Eldorado which is not a Biarritz model. I like the car, but I am wondering what the differences are between the Eldo model and the Biarritz model? Would you buy an Eldo that is not a Biarritz model? I just want to make sure I get the most Eldo for the money. Thanks for your advice and information!

All eldorados 1979-1985biarritz's have the following differences than a regular eldorado:interior of a biarritz has double button pillowed seats , most of the time they have a better sound system ,a leather wrapped steering wheel ,exterior has a signature stainless steel roof , chrome that extends from the 1/2 roof line down to the front of the car ,most of the time they had wheel upgrades , and the vinyl 1/2 roof back window was shrunk down a bit and exteroir badges "BIARRITZ"

Persoanlly I'd take the run of the mill Eldorado over the Biarritz in 1985 models. Nothing wrong with that car.

I had a couple of standard eldorado's they arestill an eldorado ,I had an 83 eldorado roadster that wasn't a biarritz and it was sharp , It was a light shade of yellow (factorycolor)with a black stayfast cloth roadster roof (sim-con)yellow leather , spokes , vogues , straps(chrome),continental kit , rolls royce grille,That car WAS a real headturner!!
