Hey guys, new to the forum and a soon to be Cadillac CTS-V owner. Looking into an 04' Mallett stage 1 car for sale. On Mallett's websited they claim 471 hp but do not specify wheel or crank. anybody with a dyno to prove the real numbers? Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance

They should be able to give you a hard copy of the readings, or better yet have them do another dyno while you are there.

That sounds like hp at the cranck to me.
not many cars under $1M can do that at the wheels.

You are of course talking stock cars under 1m? The zo6 vette is probably around 450 hp at the wheel. With a little work it will be over 600 hp at the wheel. Don' know what the stage one increase in hp would be, just get another dyno done.

Now, that is something I like to know.
What is the true hp at the wheels, tested & measured on a dyno, not formuled / calculated, for the Z06.

contacted Mallett. They calim 471 at the wheels. Talked to a few guys with Mallett stage 1 cars. they say between 430-440 rwhp is more accurate
