I know my vette now is silver but all my previous cars were black including my long gone allante. The reason I went with silver on the vette, is that it was harder to see the orange peel in the paint. Next car, whatever it may be, will definately be black.

I had two MK VII LSC cars, his & hers, one silver, one black, parked in the same driveway.
Identical in every way .. and .. the black always looked classier.

Dear Gary

The 550+ horsepower 2009 Cadillac CTS -V has just posted a blistering sub-eight-minute lap on the legendary Nürburgring track in Germany. This appears to be one of the fastest times ever publicly do***ented for a production sedan, and a major milestone on our path toward ground superiority.

In response to an overwhelming number of inquiries, we've updated the Engineer's Journal at cadillac.com/09ctsv (http://email.cadillac.bfi0.com/W0RH0199103835340AF0D2B99287D0) with footage of our milestone run, along with exclusive details on the development process. From custom tire selection to our first drives on public roads. It's all there. And we will continue to update the journal right up to the official launch.

The all-new CTS -V was created to unseat the very best, while maintaining all the technology and sophistication you'd expect from Cadillac. Join us at cadillac.com/09ctsv (http://email.cadillac.bfi0.com/W0RH0199104825340AF0D2B99287D0) to go behind-the-scenes of a legend in the making.

And thank you for your continued interest in the 2009 Cadillac CTS -V.
