The new cat back system for this application has been dyno verified to make8 hp and5 lbs. ft of torque.It features full mandrel bends (no compression bends, like those done at muffler shops) for maximum flow and a straight through, wide open muffler with NO baffles, NO chambers and NO restrictions. The system installs with simple hand tools and in most cases, can be installed by the average do-it-yourselfer in 30-60 minutes.

Yes it defiantly wakes up the 3.6L. It’s fairly mellow at cruise and idol and has a deep rumble tone when you really step on it.

Those are two totally different engines and systems. Keeping that in mind the CTS system would be a bit more aggressive.

Will this fit earlier models (05)?


As of right now it's only do***ented to fit the 08'. It may require modification to fit earlier models. I don't have any notes on exactly what, if any modifications may be required as we have only tested it on the 08'. If you try this system on an 05' I would appreciate feedback on the fitment so I can make a note for future customers. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Unfortunately I can't send you one. Our engineers have to do the testing on vehicles to ensure fitment before we can lista systemfor a specific year, make, and model. This is for cataloging and liability purposes. As of right now it's only verified to fit on a 2008.

Kinda pricey, but no doubt it would sound good.
