I have 1996 devill and bettery dies.I put in a new battery and new won die also. please help

check your altenator, if you have already any auto zone can check the battery and alt there in the parking lot for free! i would recomend buying any parts at auto zone

If the alternator is fine, check the belt going to the alternator. If it's worn or loose, then the alternator might not be charging the battery back up

i had the same problem a few weeks ago. i bought a new batt too. all i had to do was clean the terimals and cables. make sure your neg and pos are screwed in all the way it you has side mounts.

We had the very same problem in our 95 DeVille and we found out that it was the alarm. It would appear that the battery was dead and when we'd jump it, it would start...however, after we had the security alarm disabled, we no longer had that problem.
