Hey guys, this is Ben from Jalopnik.com and we're here at the Detroit Auto Show and Bob Lutz just dropped a whopper on our heads - a CTS-V Coupe concept!
We should have a gallery of pics up soon, but if there's anything you want us to take pictures of let me know at ben@jalopnik.com and we'll see if we can get it.

If GM doesn't build this one, they are fools - this car would be a top contender for world-class sport coupe, keep it under 100,000 and you would have BMW, Mercedes, and the other 'boy's club' manufacturers shaking in their German glove leather seats...
And best part...cute butt...

LOVE the seats ...
What is the latest on the drive train / engine?
Did they announce that part of it?

I agree they are fools if they don't finish this, and keep it under 100k.
Not sure about the cute butt part.

That's a coupe concept car, not a production model. Plus it's not a V car, note there are no V badges on it.

Show cars do go to production (viper) If GM leaders think they can sell it, there is a good chance they build it. I see them offering it in europe first.

Definitelly a car for the young crowd that drools over the stylish lines.
As nice as it looks, it better be a Series V or a AWD or both, to remain in the running with the World Class cars.
Otherwise, Cadillac will be taking a giant step backwards, again.

As to concept cars and marketing, remember the 1999 Detroit Show and the Cadillac Evoq?
IT later become the XLR ...

I feel pretty strongly that Cadillac will put a coupe into production. Possibly as a refresh for the new CTS andmaybe in a V a few years out.
Just pointing out that that particular car shown was still in concept stage and was not being introduced as a V, much less normal production at this point. :)
