1993 deville just recently does not idle down as quickly also passenger side floor vent and defroster work well and blow nice hot air but drivers side blows cool air. im suspecting a va***n leak but as of yet have notbeen able to locate one. this is an awesome site. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

Idle: Has anything been done to car? Is service soon or now light(s) on? Heat: How hot is air on right side with temp set at 90? Is blower blowing as hard out right side as left?

nothing recently done to engine i keep oil changed approx every 2000 miles, put plugs in it about a year ago and a new idle control solenoid other than that nothing recently. the "returning" to idle problem is more like a throttle response issue not like a high idle kick down when the engine is warming up. it just seems slow in returning to idle regardless of temp. the heater problem: both sides feel like they are blowing the same amount of air; passenger side feels normal and gets really warm both defrost and floor vent. oh yeh i did just recently change thermostat and coolant but this problem existed prior to that. i will posted any codes i see next time im online
