View Full Version : Do I Need A New Overdrive or Transmission?

http://www.cadillacforum.com/micons/m5.gif My 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS won't shift into it's final gear. It almost sounds as if it "red-lines" (the sound you hear when you don't shift in a manual transmission). Check the fluid level and condition first. Fluid should be a redish pinkish colour and not burnt smelling. If it looks Ok and it is low top it up and see how it runs after that.
