fox,
some time ago, i got an offering to buy all 7 manuals from a guy selling off
the contents of a failed dealership. he had my name from a prior sale.
bought all 7 years .. a stack of manuals about 18 inches high, he threw in a
GM slide set of "Allante Parts List, '87 to '92" on micro fish ..
now, if i ever get a reader I can help others with that.
when the books arrived, via "Book Rate" two weeks later, i was shocked to see
these manuals almost like new. Either that dealer didnt sell many an Allante or the
cars didnt come back for service.
the deals are out there, every other day,
the car parting goes on at elevated rates.
each week i see one or more Allante being parted out.
for that beauty you got, should you ever run into a low cost GRILL, take it.
IMO, that is the single most difficult part to find, and being "PLASTIC"
it doesnt take much to break one. The tail lights may be expensive, but they
are out there day in,day out. no car has ever been "totaled" due to a tail light
not avail. However, i cannot say the same for the grill.
