Bob Stealth 05-13-2007, 11:22 PM Bob the easy fix is attaching a potato chip bag clip - $1. a 2d way is surgery to the visor, seems a few parts inside break and there you have the notorious fix with a clear tube that should last a couple of years - a weekend and a few $$$.. the 3rd way i know is the visor clutch that currently sells for about $80 each . I did find the photos of the hose fix on the "other" site. I might try that one Thanks Bob Stealth 05-15-2007, 08:05 AM Bob, you did say "easy fix". jono6406 10-18-2007, 11:02 PM also another way to fix the problem is to take them off and throw away and you will never have that problem again. rickyd 10-19-2007, 08:02 AM ORIGINAL: jono6406 also another way to fix the problem is to take them off and throw away and you will never have that problem again. yea, but what will the bobster's doll do? :-) Stealth 10-19-2007, 08:07 AM My $2 fix takes 3 seconds. Got the potato bag clip in BLACK with RED handle. Matches the liner and the red stripping well. Almost OEM. That other fix, the install a rubber tube, etc .. takes a full weekend, you hope nothing breaks in the process and you get about two seasons out of it? I either dont have the time or motivation. If the potato clip is good enough for zinzin, it is good enough for me. hyperion 10-19-2007, 01:15 PM Before I bought a new visor I had improved the "potato chip clamp" with an "MIT" refined version using a clipboard purchased at staples |
