I have a 2001 deville and i get a display on the dash that says, ABS also Traction Control .what should i look for. I am also getting low coolint now also! I checked the watter level it is fine, any ideas! thanks

You could have a bad ABS sensor. The Traction Control system utilizes the ABS braking to keep the drive wheels from breaking traction. I am assuming you are not standing on teh gas and burning rubber when this happens because when you do that the TRACTION ENGAGED will display.

For the LOW COOLANT again it could be a badsensor.

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I replaced the back brakes on my 96 Cad. and both the ABS and tractionlight came on . I had knocked the wiring plug out of the back of the brake assembly on one side. I jacked the car up and put the plug back in and the lights went off.

Similarly, a loose or corroded connection might result in the COOLANT LEVEL warning. Check/clean/reseat the connector, and if that does not clear up the situation, the sensor itself is the culprit.
