I have a 1999 Cadillac El Dorado with 85, 256 miles. I have been told the head gasket is blown and the motor needs to be replaced. My El Dorado is no longer under warranty. In May of 2004, while my vehicle was under warranty the transmission and motor seals were replaced. Cadillac is offering no assistance so far. I have heard this is a common problem with the northstar engines. Any advice would be appreciated.
