I LOVE THE V-SERIES

I doubt i could ever own one but just being able to occasionally drive one of these modern marvels makes my day.

I am new to the forum. In case you have not gotten you answer
The rear windows do not go all the way down
The steering wheel functions are Left side of the wheel page thru the driver display and turn ott the traction control, Right side controls the radio.
The 1st to 4th thing is when you shift to 2nd at less than 20 mph it only goes to 4th for fuel ecomony
The spoiler is aGM part you have to order it from the parts dept.and the service dept installs it if you want. I had one installed on mine and it looks great

I am not positive but I believe that radio controls on the steering wheel were first introducted for 2006 models. I don't beleive the 2004 and 2005s had that.

Could the xlr-v go the way of the allante? I don't think so, however, Braman caddy in Miami is offering new 06 xlr-v--- take 15k off and 0% financing. It could be the economy that has slowed the sale of these cars, we are almost 1/2 way through 2007 and they're still trying to sell new 2006's.

I'm excited to see the new CTS-V with the new interior style. It looks much richer than the last one. Anyone else going tob uy one when it comes out?

I think it is a fantastic car, but not for me. xlr-v maybe, vette got one, sts-v maybe allante got one.

There have been improvements in the 08, good luck.

I'm going to wait a couple of years before considering purchasing an 09 CTSV. Too many new things on the car to have issues with, so I'll let those get worked out first and placed in a production model. Plus without knowing how much is going to be asked for the car, it could be out of my budget range.
