Hey, i have a 03 CTS and if i do not mash on the gas it dies. I mean it dies ever time the gas is not pressed. I took it to autozone and they read the fault. they said it was a mass airflow fault. a vac*** hose of mass air flow sensor. what do you guys think? how could you tell which one it is. and where could you buy a mass airflow sensor. autozone said they could not get them. anyone changed one out with a high performace one and want to sell the stock one? thanks guys

Many times it just has bug guts or road debris stuck on the sensor.
This skews the airflow readings and the car will stumble hesitate and sometimes stall.
Take it off and look right down the middle for a thin wire.
Just be careful when cleaning it so it does not break.
