I have a 1976 eldorado conv, I was hoping someone can direct me to the location of the fuel injection relay. I can't get the car to start, if I pour gas directly into the throut it starts but will not stay on by itself. I checked for fuel pressure at the rail and there is plenty so I am assuming that the injector relay is bad and not letting them do there job. Any sugestion will be highly appreciated. Thank You :confused::confused:

EFI is somewhat of a pain. Do you have or access to FSM? If you have "Noid light" see if it blinks as engine is cranked (all 8 ). If you don't check to see if you have 12v to injector connectors. There is a sensor (trigger points) mounts to distributor which sends signal to control module to operate injectors. EFI is a unique type of F.I. there are isn't a scanner or codes, there was a test box long since discontinued(it was very helpful, but did not always take you to the solution). You really need a factory service manual if you don't have one. EFI was on 74-80 Eldo,76-80 Seville, 77-80 Fleetwoods. The basic diagnosis for EFI is the same regardless of engine size.

If you have a picture or schematics for this vehicle I would really appreciated. I have bought a noid light kit to test the injectors but I'm 100% sure I have no elect to the injectors. Thank you
