What Was The 'Vintage Series" 98 Deville? anybody??

Have a chance to buy a 98 Deville vintage Series, has the gold grille, skirts, number #81 of the series...
What were these, how many were made? appreciate any info....

I think the Vintage Series was put together by an aftermarket supplier. Basically took those styling items that could be considered Vintage Cadillac and put them on the car. By 1998 things like a padded roof with opera windows, standup gold grille, wide chrome rockers, chrome wheel lip moldings and  fenders skirts were history so they went out and installed them on the big Cadillac. These have to be few and far between.

Vintage Edition was/is a package marketed Vogue tyre co.Consisting grille,50's style emblems, top, and vogue wheels and tires.Don't know about skirts, never actually saw one.I did have access all the info. MY guess dealers would tack 3-5k on the sticker for it.It is problely rare because potenial buyers will try get package for free as condition of sale and dealer can loose money if it sits on lot unsold too long. I do believe you can still get it thru www.voguetyre.com hope it helps
