i have a 1996 seville sts, got a trouble code PO 0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off, when i drive off at the stop light i get a wine shifting from first to second, can anyone tell me how to diagnose this? i mean i know there is a step by step process, if i could get my hands on a manuel.... is it a possible clutch solnoid that is not working? or dirt in the valve body?, i want to check evey possible avenue before i go to get the trany rebuilt...if i can fix it my self and save money. thank you in advance for any positive imput.
