tranny shifting hard 02 sts

I HAVE AN 02 SEVILLE STS 85K ON THE CLOCK AND IT IS STARTING TO SHIFT A LITTLE HARD FROM FIRST TO SECOND, ALL OF THE OTHER SHIFTS ARE FINE JUST HARD FROM FIRST TO SECOND, IS THIS SOMETHING ELECTRICAL , A MODULE MAYBE, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED,

A firm 1-2 shift is not uncommon for this trans,it should knock your teeth out though.Odds are its normal, if in doubt have trans tech drive it and get a first hand opinion.
